  • Yes. Creative Landscape by Design provides professional landscaping services throughout Youngstown, Boardman, Canfield, Poland, Austintown, and surrounding communities in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties.

  • Our process starts with a free consultation to understand your goals, budget, and property. We often meet our customers at the local nursery before we start design work. This often saves both parties time and is one of the most efficient ways to proceed. If we are hired then we create a customized landscape plan at no charge. If you are a potential customer still deciding which contractor best meets your needs for a small fee we will produce a design that is credited towards your custom project.

  • Every landscape is designed to fit your property’s layout, style preferences, and budget while maximizing curb appeal and usability. If your budget isn’t realistic for your desired design we will inform you. I always say if you tell three contractor the same budget you will get your best apples to apples comparison.

  • In Northeast Ohio, landscaping projects are typically installed from spring through fall. However, planning and design can take place year-round to prepare for upcoming seasons.

  • Yes. We select plants that thrive in Ohio’s climate and soil conditions, focusing on durability, seasonal interest, and long-term health.

  • Plant availability can vary due to season, weather conditions, supplier inventory, and growing cycles. Some plants are only available at certain times of the year, while others may sell out quickly. When a specific plant is unavailable, we recommend suitable alternatives that match the look, size, and performance needed for your landscape or wait till they are available. From past experience we have noted if a plant is not in in the nursery it is one of three reasons. Just simply not available as above information, not hardy and the local nursery will not carry it, and lastly simple supply and demand, it isn’t a favorable seller.

  • .Landscaping in the Valley- Mahoning, Trumbell, and Columbiana County is usally not required. If a permit is needed, we help guide you through the process and ensure the project meets local requirements.

  • Project costs are influenced by several factors, including project size, materials selected, site conditions, design complexity, quantity-quality of plants, labor requirements, and access to the work area. Custom features, upgrades, and site preparation needs can also affect overall pricing. This is all discussed during a free consultation.

  • Proper watering is critical for plant establishment. Newly installed plants typically require regular, deep watering during the first few weeks. We provide specific watering instructions based on plant type, soil conditions, and seasonal weather to help ensure long-term plant health. We also now offer setting up temporary irrigation system.

  • Warranty terms are in all of our contracts. It covers full replacement of plant including labor for up 12 months after installation.  However, it doesn’t include customer neglect, animal, or insect damage.

  • Yes. We provide landscaping services for homes, businesses, medical facilities, retail centers, and industrial properties throughout the Mahoning, Trumbell, Columbiana Counties and surrounding areas.

  • Absolutely. We offer free landscaping estimates for clients throughout Mahoning County and surrounding areas after an on-site evaluation. This normally lasts 30-60 minutes.
